The Absolute End

I'll be 21 years old on October 2. I plan on getting smashingly drunk. Why do I want to get drunk? Because after 21 years of life I will now have the freedom to legally drink an alcoholic beverage. I drank illegally all these years. Did they ever think people would follow this rule? What an utter detachment from practicality and for that matter, reality. Peoples lives are ruined everyday because they broke this law and other oppresive idealistic laws, like the "ban" of marijuana. These laws come straight out of the propaganda (lies) of the early 20th century. I am afraid of these laws because they can put norml people who aren't criminals in jail. Just ask Timothy Leary.
When I was 18, I registered for the draft. I was old enough to catch a bullet "for my country" but not old enough to drink a beer. I could smoke cigarettes and get lung cancer, though, which I do (smoke).
"Censorship vs. Freedom"
I think it is wrong that we hide things from our kids like cigarettes, alcohol and sex. We tell them that they are not old enough, these things are for adults. So what do kids do to make themselves more like an adult? Cigs, beer, drugs, and sex. It seems it is a part of growing up. We are basically lying to them by saying close your eyes or you cant be exposed to that until your older. I think it is stupid to be angry at the kid when he/she grows up wanting to do these things. The kid wants to see what he/she's been missing! "People" should be more honest torwards "their" kids, and warn them about things for the real reason, danger to your health, rather than reserving these actions for adults. Take everything in moderation, EVEN moderation. A kid who is violent because of violent TV has been watching too much violent TV, and has had a parent who has let the TV be the babysitter. A lot of TV shows are pure trash that is poisoning American minds. Someone really smart once said you can tell the ideals of a nation by its advertisments. I think America's ideals are largely in the realm of self-preservation and global conquest.
ITS TIME TO SHIFT OUR CONSCIOUSNESS, PEOPLE, THE WHOLE WORLD MUST TRANSCEND IF WE ARE TO SUCCEED IN PRESERVING THE HUMAN RACE AND LIFE ON OUR SMALL PLANET. YOU ONLY HAVE TO CHANGE IN SMALL WAYS. YOU CAN HELP ME SINCE YOU OWN A PIECE OF THE COLLECTIVE CONSCIOUSNESS. JUST ENCOURAGE THE SHIFT TO HAPPEN IN YOUR MIND.
Unfortunately the rich people will have to give up their control, they dont want to do that. They have to see for themselves. If we all work together instead of in competion with each other, then there wouldnt be many people who are starving or homeless. We consume the Earth like it was breakfast, we need to learn how to use it well and to share with each other and the animals. Maybe aliens would help us, but thats being hidden from us, too, from the people who dont want to give up their control over the world.
